Sandspit
Airport in the Queen Charlotte Island
chain of British Columbia is
also one of the most popular stopover
airfields in the area. Many pilots choose
Sandspit as a refueling stop while making
a long trip from the mainland U.S. to
Alaska. In this release we have included
not only Sandspit Airport but also Masset
Municipal, which lies about 50 miles to
the north, as well as a private cabin
known as “Mr. Frank’s
Place” complete with a seaplane dock
located in the Masset Inlet, about
halfway between Sandspit and Masset.

that represents the official commercial
airline and aircraft that flies into
Sandspit daily - and a Coastal Pacific
private charter Grumman Goose at Masset.
